Have you guys SEEN this shit? Looks soooo cool! Photos below from Spike Jonze’s adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s beloved Where the Wild Things Are:

The bottom images leaked because The Girl Skateboard Company, which Jonze co-founded, released these deck designs online a few days ago. The top ones are from Entertainment Weekly. This looks so awesome — hopefully the studio didn’t make him dumb it down too much. I mean, yeah, it’s a movie based on a children’s book, but all the people who read it when they were kids are my age and older. IMDB reports that the movie will be released on October 19, 2009. Until then… cause a wild rumpus!
