So I just found this yesterday, although you fools probably heard about it awhile ago when it first showed up. White Antelope is Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold’s solo project. It’s really cool stuff from what I’ve heard. No worries though, Fleet Foxes fans – White Antelope is apparently just an informal kind of title for Pecknold to use for covers and stuff. Listen to the really awesome cover of Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me Babe” here, at Vulture, since WordPress sucks and won’t let me embed.

Fleet Foxes – LA BLOGOTHEQUE

The people at La Blogotheque posted a new video featuring Fleet Foxes.  If you’ve never checked it out, go to http://www.blogotheque.net/spip.php?page=cae_all&lang=en.  They post vids of bands (ie Vampire Weekend, The Arcade Fire, I’m From Barcelona, etc.) playing in random locations around Paris.  And if you haven’t checked out Fleet Foxes, DO IT.  Kinda like Grizzly Bear meets Iron & Wine.  Their album is in my top of the year so far.
